Return Policy

Return Policy (US Customers Only)

We at Videogamecentral thank our customers for their patronage, and will give them the support needed for a happy, successful purchase. Sometimes, a shipping error may cause you to receive a defective item. To return a product purchased from VideoGameCentral.com (VGC,) you must first contact us by e-mail or phone. By doing this, you will receive an RA number. When you send your product back, please include your RA number and a print out of your invoice. This information will help us process your return faster. Moreover, we will not accept returns without an RA number. We at Videogamecentral will replace your defective items with ones we guarantee to work. A customer who doesn’t want a replacement item may incur processing charges. Videogamecentral.com only accepts the return of merchandise that is defective or was sent erroneously. Remember, defective items will only be replaced by working copies of the same product. Shipping charges are non-refundable.

If you plan to return a sealed or unopened product, you must contact us within one week of receipt. Later returns will not be accepted. Know that if you plan to return a new, unopened product, it must still be in that condition. Any manuals or accessories included with the product must also be returned. Any returned product that doesn’t meet these conditions will not be accepted and Videogamecentral cannot be held responsible for return shipping costs. A new, unopened product that you’ve returned can be replaced by a different item with full credit towards resend (excluded shipping charges, which must be reapplied.) Once again, you may incur processing charges if you don’t want a replacement.

After contacting our support team by phone or e-mail for an RA member, you will be able to return or exchange your item in one of the following ways:

1) Our support staff may ask you to ship the product back to VGC. In this case, take the item to your local post office and send it in the most economical way possible. USPS Media Mail may be the least expensive method. You will receive shipping reimbursements as store credit based on the USPS Media Mail rate. Once we receive your return, we will replace or exchange your product as you and our support staff agreed.
2) When returning large items, Videogamecentral may need to issue a FedEx return label. If our support staff asks you to return the merchandise via FedEx, we will provide a FedEx label by regular mail or e-mail. Once you receive or print the Fedex Return Label, package it and put the label on the box. When the package is ready, drop it off at any FedEx Drop-off location. Visit FedEx.com to find nearby drop-off locations.

Processing Charges

Customers may incur processing charges when returned items are not replaced, have been damaged, or have similarly depreciated in value. Remember that returns are only accepted with an RA number given by VGC support. Preorders (orders that haven’t been shipped yet) can be cancelled without additional charge within four weeks of the initial order. Preorders cancelled after four weeks are subject to processing fees due to the accrual of VGCs credit card and Paypal processing fees.
  • Standard processing fee for new/unopened products returned within one week is 5% (excluding shipping.) The item must be in re-sellable condition.
  • Standard processing fee for Preorders that are cancelled later than four weeks after the initial order is 5%
  • Standard processing fee for a returned product that has been opened but is in re-sellable condition is 15%
